Enel Green Power

Case Study

Largo Clean Energy entered its first VCHARGE VRFB system sales contract with Enel Green Power España in Majorca, Spain. Under the contract, LCE will deliver a 6.1 MWh VCHARGE system for a project in Spain.

This VRFB will be installed alongside 1 megawatt of solar photo-voltaic generation at the project site and be used to optimize the use of solar generation by shifting excess solar generation from day to evening.

Snapping Shoals EMC

Case Study

Storion Energy, along with Stryten Energy, is partnering with Snapping Shoals EMC in Covington, Ga., to demonstrate its advanced vanadium redox flow battery (VRFB) technology for energy storage and deployment uses and evaluate where the technology will provide the maximum benefits.

“Our collaboration with Snapping Shoals will provide deeper understanding of how our VRFB technology operates in real-world conditions. By testing the battery energy storage system against a variety of usage needs, we can identify where it can make the most impact for energy providers,” said Scott Childers, Vice President of Stryten Energy’s Essential Power Division.
